On Saturday, February 7, 2026, we held a Martial Arts Experience Festa for international Guests at the Ehime Prefectural Budokan.
This event marked the second consecutive year of the program, with approximately 34 international participants in attendance. On the day of the event, participants had the opportunity to experience eight different martial arts disciplines, spending 20 minutes at each session. Interpreters were assigned to each booth to ensure smooth communication and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
We received many positive comments from participants, including “I would like to join again next year,” making the event both meaningful and successful.
In the coming years, we plan to continue organizing similar events in cooperation with local martial arts organizations, further deepening interest in martial arts among international visitors. We also hope that these efforts will contribute to regional revitalization and enhance the recognition of the Budokan.
